Natalia Kowalski is the daughter of a famous scientist that has gone missing since Rex Fury escaped from prison during the events of Lego City: Undercover. In Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins, she is a news reporter and her hair is its natural color as brown. However, during the entire game in Lego City: Undercover, she is in the Witness Protection Program and has dyed her hair blonde. The reason for her needing protection is because, during Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins, she becomes involved with Rex Fury and his crime spree.

In Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins, Natalia has a very bland, simplistic personality. However, after the passing of two years between the prequel and Lego City: Undercover, she has become very cynical and even biting. Natalia is definitely not easy to get along with, having a perplexing character that is hard to understand. Despite all of her poor qualities, however, Chase McCain finds her infatuating anyway.
